AirPlay mirroring no longer works

When using screen mirroring via AirPlay to an Apple TV, the TV's screen will be black while being anywhere within the VLC app (library, video playback, ..) so you can no longer see any video playing either.

When I disable [self showOnDisplay:_playingExternalView.displayView];, the iOS device will mirror everything (the video plays on the iPhone and the AirPlay device) I think it's not the behaviour we want, and that what we need is to have the mirror UI on the iPhone and the video only on AirPlay device. Could you confirm this ?

Yes, this is absolutely correct. We want the video output to fill the external screen without any UI elements and have the regular UI on the iOS device just without the video. It would be nice to mirror the library UI when there is no playback at all, but this is not important.
