And on more thing: in Safari 5.0 for Windows, for video it opens new window with title VLC (Direct3D output), and when I press "fullscreen" button it opens video in fullscreen mode.
Hey, guys! This defect was opened more than two months ago, there has been 3 releases since then and still this really annoying bug hasn't been fixed!
I have thousands of users on my (russian) website watching TV channels via VLC on the daily basis. And you can imagine how often I get these complains that "fullscreen doesn't work". Currently I had to recommend them to downgrade to version 1.0.5, but unfortunately there are too many of them who have enabled "autoupgrade" feature in VLC.
Please, raise the priority of this defect and take a look at it!
P.S. "Fullscreen feature" doesn't work in both ActiveX and Mozilla plugins.
I dont understand why this bug has not been fixed yet. This should be done as fast as possible. Mozilla plugin can not be taken as serious video plugin if it does not support fullscreen, lol.

Hey dudes! This defect was opened more than four months ago and known for many more. Yet nobody has volunteered to fix it.

If it were all that important you'd have written a patch or paid someone to do it already.

Please provide someone if you want to raise the priority of a bug.

@Courmisch If there is no team fixing critical bugs in the VLC project then it is actually dead! If you really think that it is not critical then let thousands of users continue thinking that VLC is a crap and asking to replace VLC channels with Adobe Flash...

Don't you think that it's absolutely rubbish asking users of the program to write C/C++ code and dig into the tons of source code written by someone else?

Who introduced this bug in version 1.1.0? It was working correctly in version 1.0.5! Who approved these changes? Why these changes cannot be rolled back?

Oh yeah. The web plugins are more or less dead since the maintainer left the project two years ago. He was salaried by a some third party laboratory. Since then, no company has offered to sponsor anyone to take over.

The criticality depends on your perspective. But this is moot. There is nobody to fix the bug. You don't want to do it. Why should people do it for free? And your disrespectful attitude just makes sure nobody will ever want to fix it for free.

No I don't. You can't get the butter and the money for the butter. Since you're not paying any, you have to provide the butter (the source code). If you can't, then that's your sole personal problem.
Anyway, you're account has been terminated due to misbehaviour.
What my testing has given is that double clicking the control now works fine, (full screen toggles), but the command AxMediaPlayer.fullscreen still does not work. No error, nothing just happens. I am using the control inside VB.net.
