Qt: Qt 6 static build should build in release mode

Qt 6 static debug libraries are practically useless. It was building in release with debug information before (regression).

Is this issue related to the fact that nightly debug builds no longer seem to provide GUI?

Can you try to start with -vv ? The Qt interface is there but maybe for some reason it doesn't work.

It might be related to #28643. You should try the llvm nightlies which is what we'll publish.

Yes, you're right about the issue and that LLVM debug builds work. Launching GCC debug build with -vv leads to the following, so not much change:

I don't see the vlc.exe call in the capture. Are you launching it from the CLI ?

Yep. When I run ./vlc.exe in the console, it opens a new window.
