Incorrect Video Length After Convert
Symptom: After converting a .mkv h265 video to .mkv h264 video using the VLC convert function, the indicated length of the video in the progress bar is incorrect. As an example, a video of length 43 minutes indicates it is over 94 hours long when played after conversion. The video itself is fine, but the progress bar at the bottom of VLC indicates the incorrect length. When played, the position indicator is at the far right of the progress bar indicating that the additional time added by the conversion is "dead time" at the front end of the video. For example the video mentioned above starts playing at 94:09:00 and ends at 94:52:00, which is the original length of the 43 minute video. When this occurs you can't drag the progress slider to a location in the video since the entire video is compressed into a tiny part of the progress bar.
