@jbk Please allow us to be able to put the subtitles at the very bottom of the screen so we can keep them within the black bars on some movies. Perhaps with a negative/"-" value. It would really be disappointing if the subtitle couldn't go any lower than the very bottom of the screen because we should have the choice to put them at the lowest position possible.
I don't see that option implemented in VLC for Android. That would be very useful for many people to move subtitles lower on the screen. Is there any chance to implement that?
@Aza should we add this under settings/ subtitles with a horizontal slider (min -> 0, max -> phone's vertical px count (since # of vertical px bigger than # of horizontal px))? For submargin 1000 you can see the subtitle position above.
Or should we do it like in desktop?
@Aza after setting submargin to -1000, I found that it is always between movie frames, even though black parts are available(previous screenshot shows similar scenario (for 1000)). Does this ok, or do we plan to go beyond movie frames (to black parts)?
