MP3 files without populated ID3 tags show up in VLC as "unknown artist" and a bunch of gibberish text"

In newer versions of VLC when playing MP3 files without populated ID3 tags the files appear as "unknown artist" and a bunch of gibberish text when played instead of defaulting to the file name like older versions used to. Why this was changed is a mystery... I know the argument can be made to fill out the ID3 tag but literally no one does this for files downloaded from the internet especially for disposable single time use files like podcasts and doing do so on android with the limited interface and lack of tools is difficult.

Expected behavior

Display the name of the MP3 file as a fallback when played if the ID3 tag is not populated like older versions used to.

Actual behavior

MP3 file displays as "Unknown artist" + gibberish text.

Steps to reproduce

• Play MP3 file with blank ID3 tag
• VLC displays as "unknown artist" etc
