CUE File Playlist track data gets overwritten when track is played

When i open an album .cue file to play, it opens fine and the gapless playback works perfectly fine. The bug is playlist related... From when it starts playing track 1. the playlist shows it as the album title instead of the track it's playing, the other tracks are titled correctly. But once a track is played VLC changes the tag information & renames it with the album name. Also under the duration title it also only shows the total album length instead of the individual track lengths. I've tried it with several .cue files and is the same all the time.
