iOS 3.4.0 VLC update will not display video on an external screen from iOS 16.4.1 iPhone 12 mini

Same issue as "iOS 3.4.0 VLC update will not display video on an external screen from iOS 16.4.1 iPad mini 6" Get sound no picture via HDMI cable (all other video apps streaming apps (BBC / Apple) working fine

Was 100% working fine before app update (although wouldn't sware i was using 16.4.1 could have been before that update too not 100% sure)
