iOS 3.4.0 VLC update will not display video on an external screen from iOS 16.4.1 iPad mini 6

After upgrading to version 3.4.0 of VLC on my iPad mini 6 iOS 16.4.1 device, it does not play video on my external monitor although it says video's being played on external monitor - actually it is NOT. Version 3.3.12 works perfect. Please help to fix ASAP. I really need this feature. Thanks.
