3.0.18 regression: mov: Quicktime cut videos fail to play after some time

I have some TV recordings which are cut by an using apple quicktime.

While they play fine for the first few minutes, the image (and sound) hangs after some time, for the remaining video (in the example video: around 22 minutes). Seeking within the first part of the video work fine, but it fails to seek into the second part of the video.

Those files are working fine in other media players, and they were also working fine in older versions of VLC, so this seems to be a regression: Bad version: VLC 3.0.18, Good versions: <= 3.0.17
