ASS Subtitles crashing VLC
VLC: v3.0.17.4 OS: Windows 10 LTSC (2018 & 2021) Video Card: Multiple (Intel HD Graphics 4600, Intel UHD Graphics, GeForce GTX 860M, GeForce GTX 1060, Quadro T1000) FileName: [ASW] Mob Psycho 100 S3 - 01 [1080p HEVC][D53C0757].mkv (Crashing at 2min mark)
This has happened in the past, but I attributed it to older hardware, but its happening on a >1 year old PC, and multiple other windows systems, with different video cards On some videos with ASS subs VLC will just crash. Always at the same point. If I cut off the subtitles and then turn them back on it works fine The video plays on my Android phone with subtitles with no issues

Messages crashed along with VLC so I couldn't get the logs from there. Other people says theirs work just fine but others also encountering same issue. It probably has something to do with subtitle rendering but wonder why some people simply don't. I'm wondering what the common denominator could be.
