video colors replaced by greens and purples after iPad app update (March 29, 2022)

I just went to watch a video file in VLC on my iPad, and all of the colors had become green or purple (or blacks seemed to sometimes remain blackish). Earlier today I watched a full movie without any difficult, but between now and then, I did do the update in the App Store for version 3.3.1. It seems that something strange happened for me. All of my video files now have the same green/purple distortion.
