Coloured ASCII art crashes OpenGL

Start VLC.
Use (or probe and fail-safe) the OpenGL video output.
Use (or probe and fail-safe) the coloured ASCII art output. The OpenGL plugin (libgl_plugin) gets unloaded from memory. Next attempt to activate it will raise a segmentation fault.

Easy way to trigger this (assuming Wayland is unavailable):

$ DISPLAY= vlc video

Only known work-around: remove ASCII art from the build.

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
