Subtitles BUG

When I cut the video to 16x9 to fit my screen, the subtitles (generated by an srt) become displaced, moving to the right. I can´t realize how to make them go to the center. I has happen for a long time, in many versions of VLC running under Windows 7. Please, try to fix it. Thanks
