Clicking on audio items doesn’t start playback

On the iPhone, we have an iOS Shortcut that opens an audio or video file from the iOS Files app, and open it in the VLC app. Prior to the 3.4.0 update, running the iOS Shortcut would immediately open the VLC app and start playing that audio or video file. However, after the 3.4.0 update, the audio or video file doesn’t start playing. Instead, VLC opens. And only after running the iOS Shortcut again, will VLC start playing the audio or video file.

I’m experiencing this same kind of behavior when clicking on media items in VLC on the latest test flight build. For whatever reason long pressing on an item and then clicking on Play from the context menu is slightly more consistent in getting a song to play.
