Variable length seek on swipe left/right

VLC on Android works notably different when it comes to seeking by swiping left/right - the longer the swipe, the longer the seek (with a text popup showing how many seconds/minutes it's going to seek, while swiping). The iOS default of one fixed seek length requires many, many swipes if trying to seek in a video, and/or is imprecise.

I would very much prefer the Android variant of the behaviour (even if behind an option).

@diogo.simao-marques can we do that? or shall we say that the touch and swipe to seek gesture provided by the position slider is sufficient?

I believe we can and it could act like the playback slider scrubbing, but in my opinion this should not be a priority for now besides now we have the ability to customize the seek duration

Let's set a bigger milestone for this feature request and collect some feedback around the custom seek duration feature to see if we should go further or not?
