Forgets video when paused while playing as audio

Greetings.

Thank you for the great software that VLC is. Here is the description of a bug I encountered on the Android app, which persist all over this year, accros different versions.

Device Model: UMIDIG F1

Android Version: 9

VLC version: 3.2.3 Revision aca6cb792 (2019-11-27)

Replication procedure:

  1. Prerequisites
  • an MP4 file on the device
  • (optinonally), an .mp3 file on the device
  1. Method
  • Play the MP4 video file with VLC
  • Select the "Play as audio feature" -> MP4 keeps playing in the background as expected. (Same thing as pressing the home button).
  • From the Android Homescreen, drag down to display application widgets and such, among which is VLC.
  • Pause the playing MP4 video using the later.
  • Wait for at least 2 minutes with the video paused.
  • From the homescreen menu again, press play in the dragged down VLC widget to resume the MP4 file
  • VLC will instead play the lastest .mp3 played file. (While I did not test the case when there is "No MP3 file was ever played before.", I suspect it will just crash the same way.)

I would appreciate if this could be fixed in the upcoming version, as I use VLC to listen to pre downloaded podcasts, and sometimes have to pause them for a relatively long duration of time.

I have also attached the debug log of VLC while replicating the bug.

Thanks in advance, and keep up the good work.
