The caption is cut off in the 'adjust/fit to the screen' - Android

I carry an external caption and it simply gets cut off out of sight when I put the 'fit to screen' option. I use the Galaxy S8, and the 'fit to the screen' option leaves the video a bit larger, but I can not read the caption because it does not fit the screen and accompanies the original video size by cutting the bottom half of the last line of the caption.

(Generally the video is usually at 18:9 and not with 18.5:9 as the S8's screen is)
