Continue/Resume Video Playback is not working

I have an Android TV box with VLC installed.

According to this VLC Help Page: https://www.vlchelp.com/pause-resume-playback-options-android/ (3. Section on the page) it should be possible to continue an interrupted video playback --- but it is not. The video always starts from the beginning when you try to continue at the position where it was interrupted.

This problem has been up before in the forum, e. g.: #1538 (closed) . In this issue it is mentioned that it should be solved in VLC 3.3.2 beta. But it is not. My VLC version is 3.3.2 (no beta) and it – apparently – still have the problem.

My Android TV box is an "4K Android TV BOX SRT202 Ematic" from Strong.

On the TV the model is shown as AGT 419.

The VLC version is 3.3.4.

Yesterday I played a part (appr. 20 min.) of a video ("Kaptajnen...", a ts-file) and then stopped the playback. VLC then placed an icon on the screen (in the row labeled "Næste" - which is danish for "Next"). As you can see from the attachment, VLC "knows" that a part of the video has been played back. But if I select the icon and  press OK, the video is played back from the start.

I hope that this info is usable. If not, please let me know how I can help.

Sorry for not answering this email until now. I have not seen until today.

I can't do what you ask me to do. I dont know how. I will wait for a new version of VLC and test it then.
